The Development of 630 Precipitation Hardening Stainless Steel

摘要


AISI 630不銹鋼屬麻田散鐵系析出硬化型不銹鋼,該鋼種之鍛造性困難,熱加工溫度範圍狹窄,當溫度降至980°C以下時的熱塑性不佳,在高溫時又會因晶粒粗大及δ-ferrite之析出而產生熱加工斷裂。榮剛重工經深入的研究,已可利用δ-ferrite之控制技巧、擬恆溫鍛造及軋延的控制,目前已可產製φ12~165mm之AISI 630棒材,其品質已達ASTM A564及AMS 5643等國際規範之標準,除此之外榮剛重工所產製AISI 630之棒材,若經兩次H1150之熱處理後,亦能符合API 6A-60°C之低溫衝擊規格標準。本文係就AISI 630不銹鋼之材料特性、製程及管制要點,作一綜合性之介紹說明。

AISI 630 is martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel that is difficult in hot forming because the range of forming temperature is very narrow. When the forging temperature falls below 980°C, the formability is very poor. At higher temperatures the grain will grow and δ-ferrite will form, which will lead to failure in forging process. GHIC has developed a δ-ferrite control technique, induding quasi-isothermal forging and controlled rolling to produce precipitation hardening stainless steel type AISI 630 within size range fromφ12 mm toφ165 mm. The properties of products conform to the commercial, industrial and aerospace specifications, such as ASTM A564, AMS 5643, etc.. The impact value under HH1150 condition at -60°C is also satisfactory to the specification of API 6A under temperature classification K-PSL3. The material properties and the key process parameters during production will be discussed in this paper.
