黃連木枝葉抽出物與精油之抗氧化活性評估

ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITIES OF EXTRACTS AND OILS FROM TWIG AND LEAF OF PISTACIA CHINENSIS

摘要


本研究評估黃連木枝葉抽出物與精油之抗氧化活性,抗氧化物質含量分析結果顯示,黃連木葉子抽出物的總多酚類含量與總黃酮類含量均高於枝條抽出物,丙酮抽出物與乙醇抽出物所含的抗氧化物質高於熱水抽出物與精油,其中,又以葉子丙酮抽出物含有最多的總多酚類物質(366 mg of GAE/g)與總黃酮類物質(312 mg of QE/g)。枝葉抽出物與精油的抗氧化活性分析,同樣以葉子抽出物的活性優於枝條抽出物,抽出物抗氧化活性的高低與抗氧化物質含量相關。抽出物的還原力分析以葉子丙酮抽出物的效果最佳;DPPH自由基的清除活性評估,以葉子與枝條丙酮抽出物與乙醇抽出物的DPPH自由基清除活性較好,半數抑制濃度均小於3 μg/mL,抑制活性與正對照組兒茶素Catechin相當;總抗氧化能力亦以葉子的丙酮抽出物與乙醇抽出物為最高。綜合研究果顯示,黃連木葉子丙酮抽出物與乙醇抽出物具有良好的抗氧化活性。

Antioxidant activities of extracts and essential oils from the twig and leaf of Pistacia chinensis were investigated in the study. Results revealed that the amount of antioxidants, total phenolic content and total flavonoid content of all leaf extracts were higher than those of twig extracts. Ethanolic and acetone extracts contained more antioxidant constituents than hot-water extract and the essential oil. Among these examined extracts, the leaf acetone extract contained the highest total phenolic content (366 mg of GAE/g) and total flavonoid content (312 mg of QE/g). Antioxidant activities of leaf extracts were also higher than those of twig extracts. Antioxidant activities of extracts were proportional to the antioxidant content. Leaf acetone extract exhibited the best reducing power. Ethanolic and acetone extracts of leaf and twig possessed higher DPPH radical scavenging activity with IC_(50) values of less than 3 μg/mL. The radical scavenging activity of DPPH of these extracts were comparatively similar to that of positive control, catechin. Ethanolic extract and acetone extract of leaf also had the superior Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity. Based on the above results, ethanolic and acetone extracts from the leaf of P. chinensis show the best antioxidant activity.
