現代詩的音樂化實踐-以夏宇詩/歌混融的作品為例

The Musical Practice of Modern Poetry: Taking Xia Yu's Poems and Songs as Examples

摘要


現代詩與歌的關係,或許可用「詩歌分家」或「詩樂同源」這兩種類型化的詮釋觀點來區分,但在夏宇現代詩音樂化創作實踐中,其豐富多元的樣態,已非這二者可以窮盡,更呈現了詩與音樂流動的、辯證的關係。現代詩與流行歌混融交滲,互相激盪以生發意義,使當代的現代詩展演與流行歌曲抒情美典融合,展開殊異的面貌。本文將夏宇現代詩音樂化實踐的作品分為五類,並聚焦於「詩歌混融」作品。討論夏宇/李格弟詩/歌創作態度的變遷,帶入流行文化、文化資本與獨立音樂的視角,探討她的創作呈現詩與歌「愈混愈對」的結果:同時混融了詩與歌兩種文體,也消除大眾與菁英的壁壘,醞釀出豐富的詩意。本文以夏宇參與吟詩與創作的三首作品:〈各站停靠〉、〈勾引〉、〈Ophelia〉進行文本分析,討論這些歌曲創作過程中複音、互文、感應等議題。因研究的文本乃是由書面文學過渡到音樂文學,研究的核心要點便是以適合「音樂文學」的研究取徑做文本分析。藉由帶入「音樂文本」研究的視角,深入詮釋、分析現代詩音樂化文本,如何在現代詩、歌詞、音樂中產生意義,並顛覆現代詩與流行歌曲隱然存在的文體界線,在通俗普及的要求和文學之美的美典訴求中巧妙取得平衡。

The relationship between modern poetry and song may be distinguished by two types of interpretations: "poetry and music division" and "poetry and music from the same source." In Xia Yu's musical practice, its diverse style is richer than the two types. Xia Yu's works show the dialectical relationship between poetry and music. Modern poems and popular songs are blended, and they stir up each other to give birth to meanings, so that modern poetry performances and popular songs can be integrated to develop a unique look. This article divides Xia Yu's modern poetry musical practice into five categories, and focuses on poetry and song blending works. It discusses the changes of Xia Yu's and Li Gedi's attitudes towards poetry andsong in terms of the perspectives of popular culture, cultural capital and independent music. This article also discusses the achievement of Xia Yu's "more and more mixed" poems and songs, blending poems and songs to eliminate the barriers between the masses and elites. This article analyzes Xia Yu's participation in poetry recitation and creation of three works: "Dock at each station," "Seduce," and "Ophelia," and discusses the issues of polyphony, intertext, and induction in the creation of these songs. Because the text of the works was transitioned from written literature to music literature, the core point of this article is based on the perspective of "musical text." This article investigates modern poetic music text regarding how the text produces meanings in modern poems, lyrics, and music. Xia Yu's works erases the boundary between modern poetry and popular songs, while displaying themselves both as literature and as part of popular culture.
