The benign mediastinal tumor with SVC syndrome is very rare. The kind of tumor grows slowly and the symptoms are usually due to compression of the adjacent structures. Here we present a benign mediastinal mesenchymoma, containing adipose tissue, smooth muscle bumdle and a bone with marrow component with SVC syndrome, dysphagia and chest pain. She receives total excision. Postoperative course is uneventful, she is under closed observation.
