花蓮市高中生之性教育活動

Sexuality Education Program for High School Students in Hualien City

摘要


目的:評估性教育活動顧隊中一年級學生的適用性。材料與方法:採隊相等的實驗組、控制組設計,從花蓮市四所學校中隨機選取八班高中一年級學生為研究對象,立意選取某兩校的四班為性教育組、另兩校的四班為對照組,在活動開始之前兩組學生均接受性知識、態度和行為的問卷調查。兩個月後對性教育組施以三單元(6小時)的性教育活動。於活動結束兩備月後,對兩組學生再進行問卷評估,並請性教育組學生對活內肉及有效性評價。結果:性教育組與對照組於性知識上在活動前有顯著的差異,而性教育組於活動後之性知織或觀念上的改變不大,但對活動的評估普遍認為有趣及山象深刻。結論:花蓮市高中學生需要加強性教育,學校工作者應辦理相關活動,活動設計應以學生為中心的活動,加強學生正確使用避孕措施的能力及拒絕性關系的信心及技巧。(慈濟醫學 1999; 11:329-336)

Objective: To evaluate the propriety of a sexuality education program for high school students. Materials and methods: An unequal experiment and control group design was used in this study. Eight classes of grade one students from four high schools in Hualien City were randomly selected. Four classes of students from two schools were purposely assigned to the intervention group while the other four classes were assigned to the control group. Both groups took pre-tests regarding sexual knowledge and attitude. Two months later, the intervention group participated in three sex education activities (6 hours altogether). After the activities, both groups took post-tests, and the intervention group also evaluated the activities. Results: There was a significant difference in knowledge between the two groups. The changes in knowledge of and attitude toward risky sexual behavior were not obvious. Conclusions: Sexuality education programs are needed for high school students. School personnel should incorporate student-centered, sexual education activities into the current curricula, promoting the use of contraception and the skills to resist the social pressure.(Tzu Chi Med J 1999; 11:329-336)
