Effect of Differential Exposures of X-Irradiation on Some Hematological Components in Guinea Pigs

不同投射之X射線對豚鼠血內一些成份的影響

摘要


本研究之目的在探討不同投射之X射線對豚鼠致死、生長以及血液內一些成份之影響,本研究選購體重相近(300-320)之雄性豚鼠90隻,分為五組。A組為對照組,其餘各組為實驗組:B組及E組為一次投射,其劑量分別為350R及500R;C、D兩組為二次投射,先分別予以150R及250R,經過35天後,再分別以350R及250R之劑量幅射。 本研究結果顯示:B、C、D及E等實驗組豚鼠的死亡率,分別為40%、53.33%、46.67%及100%。各實驗組的生長,WBC和RBC的計數,以及紅血素和血漿蛋白的濃度,均受到X射線的抑制。雖然C、D和E三組受輻射的總劑量相同,但以E組血內一些成份所受到抑制最為嚴重,其次是C組。然而,D組所受到的抑制卻較B組者為大。

The effect of differential exposures of X-irradiation on the growth, mortality and some hematological components in guinea pigs were studied. A total of ninety male guinea pigs were divided into five groups. Group A served as the control. Groups B and E were irradiated with 350 R and 500 R at one time, groups C and D, irradiated 500 Rat two times, i.e. 150 R+350 R; 250 R+250 R, respectively at an interval of 35 days. The results of this study revealed that the mortality in experimental groups B, C, D and E were 40%, 53.33%, 46.67% and 100% respectively. The growth, the cell counts of WBC and RBC, and the concentration of hemoglobin and plasma protein, were inhibited by X-irradiation. Despite of the same dose applied to groups C, D and E, the degree of inhibitory effect on these hematological components. was the most severe in group E, and the next was that in group C. However, the inhibition was more severe in group D than that in group B.
