摘要

結合交通、車輛、資通訊技術，一場融合了資通訊與汽車產業的新世紀革命正悄悄展開。「智慧協同式車載資通訊服務與系統技術計畫」為台灣扮演敲開世界車載資通訊領域之叩門磚，引領台灣由3C(Computer, Communications and Consumer Electronics)強國，大步邁向4C(Computer, Communications, Consumer Electronics and Car Electronics)新世代。以與世界同步、領先亞洲之IWCU(ITRI WAVE/DSRC Communication Unit)車載短距通訊技術為基礎，創造智慧車載資通訊應用服務新模式，架構台灣車載資通訊產業新未來。

A new era for revolution of auto industries by integrating vehicles and transportation system with information and communications technologies (ICT) is quietly progressing. The project ”Vehicle ICT Service and System Technology” plays a role of guiding Taiwan ICT industries not only to leverage their core technologies in Computer, Communication and Consumer Electronics(3C) but also to step into new market in Car Electronics(CE), i.e. 4C(3C+CE). Based on the ITRI's leading technology in WAVE/DSRC, ITRI will collaborate with Taiwan industries to explore innovative vehicle ICT applications and foster new Telematics business opportunity.
