Vascular Leiomyoma of the Nasal Septum-Case Report
鼻中隔血管型平滑肌瘤－病例報告
摘要
Leiomyomas are benign tumors, with 95% cases arise from the uterus. Less than 1% occurred in the head and neck area, and only 3% of leiomyomas in the head and neck area occurred in the nasal cavity. Intranasal leiomyoma is extremely rare, with nonspecific presentations such as nasal obstruction, epistaxis and pain. After the first case of nasal vascular leiomyoma was described by Maesaka et al. in 1966, some cases have been reported in the literature. The slow growing benign tumor is best treated with complete surgical excision. We present a case of vascular leiomyoma arising from the nasal septum, its clinical and histological features, the treatment and literature review.

平滑肌瘤爲良性之腫瘤，常見於子宮（95%）、皮膚與腸胃道，發生在頭頸部比例小於1%，而鼻腔僅佔其中3%。發生在鼻腔内的血管型平滑肌瘤非常少見，在臨床上無特異症狀，以鼻塞、流鼻血、鼻部疼痛爲常見主訴，最早之病例爲1966年由Maesaka所提出，至今只有少數病例報告。國内外的參考資料均指出其為一良性生長緩慢之腫瘤，手術完整切除為主要治療方式。本篇病例報告爲1名58歲男性因單側漸進性鼻塞持續了10年，接受手術切除後診斷此疾病，並回顧了相關文獻。
