視力影響立體視覺之研究
The Correlation between Visual Acuity and Stereoacuity
摘要
選擇50位正常視力及立體視覺者，以Ryser's遮閉膜遮閉單眼或雙眼使視力降低，然後觀察立體視機能降低的情形。發現不論單眼或雙眼視力降低則立體視機能降低，單眼規力比雙眼視力降低影響立體視覺更甚，但優位眼及非優位眼則無差異。因為Ryser's遮閉膜不會造成影像歪曲，且不會影響影像大小，所以本篇以遮閉膜來研究視力及立體視覺的關係是很有意義的。

Fifty normal adult volunteers with normal binocular single vision and normal stereoacuity submitted to monocular and binocular degradation of their stereoacuity by means of the Ryser's membrane. It was found that stereoacuity (S.A.) decreased as soon as visual acuity (V.A.), both monocular and binocular, was decreased. The degree of S.A. reduction was slightly more mark-ed with monocular decrease than with binocular decrease, but there was no significant difference in the dominant or nondominant eye. Because of Ryser's membrane would not made distorted vision and would not change the visual size. It is concluded that a strong correlation between V.A. and S.A. does exist.
