白內障病人術前角膜曲度及眼軸長度之分析

摘要

目的：研究白內障病人白內障手術前的角膜曲度及眼軸長度。
方法：在2000年一年內由高雄醫學大學眼科收集同一位手術者之29位有完整資料，並接受白內障手術的病人。分析其年齡、性別、術前平均角膜曲度及眼軸長度，統計其平均值及標準差。
結果：29位病人，15位為男性，14位為女性。平均年齡為65.3歲，年齡範圍由38歲至86歲。平均角膜曲度為43.64D，曲度範圍為40.90D至46.38D。平均眼軸長度為23.73mm，長度範圍為22.05mm至25.92mm。
結論：白內障病人年齡以年老居多，平均年齡超過65歲。假如某些白內障病人的術前角膜曲度難以測量，43D至44D的角膜曲度值是可以被考慮使用以計算人工水晶體之度數。

Purpose: To investigate the preoperative keratometer value and axial length in cataractous eyes within one year by Dr. Chung, the surgeon, in Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) 2000.
Method: We collected 29 patients with complete data who receiving cataract surgery in KMU 2000. The age, sex, mean keratometer value, and axial length preoperatively in patients with cataractous eyes were analyzed. The mean value and standard deviation were calculated in this study.
Result: There were 29 eyes from 29 cataractous patients, 15 males and 14 females. The mean age was 65.3 ± 12.9 years old with a range from 38 to 86. The mean keratometer value was 43.64±1.32 diopter (D) with a range from 40.90 to 46.38. The mean axial length was 23.73±1.13 mm with a range from 22.05 to 25.92.
Conclusion: The age of cataractous eyes was old in most cases and the mean age was over 65 years old. If the keratometer values of some cataractous patients were hardly to detect preoperatively, the value between 43 to 44 may be considered for intraocular lens power calculation.
