並列摘要
There exist many compound words and phrases with the prefix ”daˇ” in Mandarin. They are not only productive but also meaningful and active. This paper aims to examine their morphological processes and parts of speech in terms of their word bases, to furnish the reasons why they came into common use, and to review their evolution and pertinent linguistic phenomena to the collected data.
