大學生服務學習經驗對社會能力與文化能力之影響

The Effects of Students' Experience of Service Learning on Social Ability and Cultural Competence

摘要


本研究探討大學生服務學習經驗對社會能力及文化能力是否具有顯著影響,並分析學生的年級是否干擾上述的關聯性。以北部某私立科技大學回收的1,864份有效問卷,獲得以下研究發現:首先,大學生參與課程融入服務學習經驗對社會能力有顯著正向影響。其次,大學生參與課程融入服務學習經驗與營隊服務學習經驗,均對於大學生的文化能力具有正向影響。最後,高年級同學的營隊服務學習經驗對社會能力及文化能力之影響均高於低年級同學。本文討論研究發現在軍校教育實務的管理意涵。

This study aims at investigating the effects of students' experience of service learning on social ability and cultural competence. Moreover, we also examined the moderating effect of student grade. After analyzing the 1,864 effective questionnaires, the results are as following: First, college students' experience of course-service learning has positive effect on their social ability. Second, college students' experience of service learning (both course and community activity) has significantly positive effect on their cultural competence. Finally, after participation in service learning experience of community activity, social ability and cultural competence of the high-grade undergraduate students outperform those of the low-grade students. Our findings conclude with a discussion of the practical implications for military education.
