摘要

本文係針對小比例尺上地圖（集）內行政地名之位置作一比較探討，方法上採用四項指標(1)人口密度(2)產（職）業結構(3)教育程度(4)工作與求學之比值，予以量化求取都市化重要性之排列順序以取代傳統人爲主觀取捨，方可避免對讀（用）圖者產生認知錯誤與差異。

The purport of this essay is to compare and study the position of administrative place names in small scale maps (atlas). we acquire the arrangment and sequence of urbanization importance to replace traditional artificial subjective place name selection by quantifying four indexes: 1. population density, 2. sector (profession) structure, 3. level of education, and 4. worker to education receiver. Therefore the misunderstanding to users could be avoided.
