In recent years, Facebook has become one of the most popular social networking sites in the world, it not only makes people easier to connect with each other, but also has a great influence in this generation. How to market library services with Facebook effectively, but avoid recessive interference of privacy is worth pondering. This study first examines the recent literature in Facebook, then observes the applications of Facebook in the academic and public libraries, finally propose some points for attention, then make five suggestions for the application of Facebook in the libraries.
