水稻新品種臺東33號之育成

Development of the New Rice Variety Taitung 33

摘要


東稉育971038號係本場於2005年第1期作以臺東30號為母本,Basmati 370為父本進行雜交,依譜系法進行分離世代的培育與選拔,由第5世代選出後,歷經產量比較試驗、區域試驗及各項特性檢定,結果表現優異,於2012年6月1日通過審查命名為「臺東33號」。臺東33號屬稉稻中晚熟品種,生育日數平均第1期作為129天,第2期作111天;株高在第1、2期作分別為95.5cm與95.9cm;第1、2期作的穗長為18.8cm及19.4cm,兩期作均表現豐產,稻穀平均產量分別為6,623 kg/ha與4,771 kg/ha,比對照品種臺稉9號分別增產11.0%與2.9%;本品種穀粒飽滿,米粒外觀良好,透明度佳,心、腹、背白少;食用品質為A-B級,優於或等同於良質米推薦品種臺稉9號;而且具有良好的稻熱病抵抗性,為農藝性狀極佳的水稻栽培品種。

Tungkeng yu 971038 was developed by crossing Taitung 30 with Basmati 370, has been registered as Taitung 33 by the council of rice variety designation and examination on 2012. The agronomic characteristics of this cultivar are: 129 and 111 days of growth duration and 95.5 cm and 95.9 cm of the plant height for the 1st and 2nd cropping season, respectively. The panicle length is 18.8 cm for the 1st and 19.4 cm for the 2nd cropping season. The average grain yield of Taitung 33 is 6,623 kg/ha for the 1st and 4,771 kg/ha for the 2nd cropping season, 11.0% and 2.9% higher than Taikeng 9, respectively.This variety has shown moderate resistance to rice blast and lodging, posseses erect plant type and good grain appearance. Eating quality is better than Taikeng 9, which is considered as a high quality rice variety.
