多軸複動化鍛造模組設計與製程研究開發

The Study of Design of Multi-Action Die Set and Its Flashless Forging Process

摘要


下料省料化為近年來鍛造技術發展之主要方向之一。要到達此一目標須藉由複動化鍛造模組來進行無毛邊之鍛造。而複動化鍛造模組之結構較為複雜,設計較為困難。在本文中除了介紹複動化鍛造模組之設計原則外,亦介紹一多軸水平複動模組之開發過程,本模組是裝配在傳統鍛機上進行鍛造測試,以楔形塊來驅動側向衝頭,並設計油壓模墊作為合模機構,進行多通銅質接頭複動化鍛造之試驗。結果顯示,此模組之運動情形均符合原先預期之目標,經由實際之鍛造製程可成功地鍛製出無毛邊之中空銅質接頭鍛件。在本試驗中,利用本模組共開發四種不同型式之接頭鍛件,以LPG接頭鍛件為例,無毛邊之鍛件比傳統有毛邊之鍛件約可節省34%之材料及40%以上之機械加工量,可大幅降低生產成本,提升競爭力。

Saving the usage of materials is one of the main trends of development of forging technology. The aim can be reached by using multi-action forging die sets to precede the flashless forging. In this paper, the design principles of the multi-action die sets were present and the developing procedure of one developed multi-action die set was introduced as well. In the design of this die set, hydraulic die cushion is designed for die clamping and multiple horizontal rams driven by wedges are designed for lateral forging. The die set is installed in a conventional forging press and tested. The results show that the action of the die set can match the original expectation and the cored and flashless forgings of brass joint are successfully made. Totally, using this die set makes four kinds of brass joint forgings. In the case of LPG joint, the weight of forgings made by the flash less forging process were about 34% less than that of forgings made by conventional forging process. And the amount of machining can be saved about 40%. So, the application of multi-action die sets can dramatically reduce the cost and promote competitivity.
