The purposes of this study are two-fold: first, to explore the impacts of internship circumstances in Sandwich Curriculum on students' professional commitment and second, to investigate the mediating effects of the internship experience satisfaction and self-efficacy in enhancing the relationship between internship circumstance and students' professional commitment. The results showed that the internship circumstance, internship's experience satisfaction, and self-efficacy had a positive relationship with students' professional commitment. The internship experience satisfaction and self-efficacy had a mediating effect on the relationship between the internship circumstances and students' professional commitment. The study also proved the importance of internship experience satisfaction in enhancing students' professional commitment. Therefore, it was suggested that these international hotels could enhance students' internship experiences by improving the internship circumstances, such as job redesign and supportive supervisors. On the other hand, the schools could help students increase their internship satisfaction and self-efficacy by providing internship orientations, sufficient supports, assistance before and during the internship period, and the optimal duration of internship is 6 months.
