The theory of quality of working life is based on the socio-technical system which is addressed by Commings and Worley, who were working as consultants at the Tavistock Institute in London. Sociotechnical system is an approach to complex organizational work design that recognizes the interaction between people and technology in workplaces. The study started from literature collection, and went on by exploring the related concepts, theories and researches of quality of working life. Totally 20,000 copies of questionnaires were issued to laborers to explore their demands and satisfaction towards quality of working life, finally 6,481 effective questionnaires were reclaimed. The questionnaire data analyzed and the results of this study were as follows: 1. There's a negative correlation relationship between internal demands towards quality of working life and internal satisfaction among sample group. 2. There's a negative correlation relationship between external demands towards quality of working life and external satisfaction among sample group. 3. There's a positive correlation relationship between internal demands towards quality of working life and external demands towards quality of working life. 4. There's a positive correlations relationship between internal satisfaction towards quality of working life and external satisfaction towards quality of working life.
