鍶對於牙科植體骨整合的影響:文獻回顧

The Effect of Strontium on Osseointegration of Dental Implant: A Literature Review

摘要


使用牙科植體來取代缺失的牙齒目前已經變成一種常見的治療選擇。植體成功的關鍵在於其表面與周遭的齒槽骨能建立起骨整合。鍶(strontium)具有促進骨生成及抑制骨吸收的特性,近年來十分受到骨科及生醫材料界的重視。在牙科植體領域上目前也有許多相關的研究,以期能夠利用鍶這項特性來促進植體骨整合的產生。本文整理了目前文獻上的研究,希望能讓牙醫師對於這方面有進一步的認識。(臺灣牙周醫誌,20(3):194-202,2015)

Today, the use of dental implants has become a common treatment procedure for the replacement of missing teeth. The key to the success of dental implant is the establishment of osseointegration between the implant surface and the surrounding alveolar bone. Strontium has characteristics that help to improve bone formation and inhibit bone resorption; this has attracted much attention in the field of orthopedics and biomaterials in recent years. There has been a great deal of related research recently in the field of dental implantation, and dentists need to be able to utilize this characteristic of strontium in order to improve the osseointegration of dental implants.
