台湾における日本語教育の歩みと今日的課題

122年の歴史を持つ台湾における日本語教育は侵略的時期（1895-1945年）、禁止的時期（1945-1963年）、経済的時期（1963-1988年）、文化的時期（1988-現在）のように区分される。戦後の経済的時期における日本語教育機関の多くは高等教育機関にあったが、文化的時期初期の1990年代、「グローバルな視野」、「国際的な素養」、「多文化教育」の理念が提出され、特に21世紀に入って以来、国際理解と国際移動力の重要性が唱えられるようになって、高等教育機関だけではなく、中等教育機関、初等教育機関における日本語教育もますます重視されるようになった。そして2014年に告示され、2019年から実施することになっている、小学校から高校までの「十二年國民基本教育課程綱要總綱」を見て分かるように、日本語を含む外国語教育が重視されている。そうすると、日本語教育が前よりもっと盛んになると期待されている。本稿では台湾における日本語教育の122年間の歩みを見ながら、大学日本語教育の問題点を考察し、教育内容の今日的課題を考えたいものである。

It is divided into invasive period (1895-1945), forbidden period (1945-1963), economic period (1963-1988) and cultural period (1988-present). Many of the Japanese institutions in the economic period were in higher education institutions. In the early cultural period of 1990's, the philosophy of ＂global perspective＂, ＂international education＂, ＂multicultural education＂ was submitted. Especially after entering the 21st century, the importance of international understanding and international mobility has been advocated, and Japanese education in secondary education institutions and primary education institutions has become increasingly important. Foreign language education including Japanese is emphasized, as can be seen from the ＂The curriculum guidelines of the Twelve-year Basic Education＂ announced in 2014 and to be implemented from 2019. Then, Japanese language education is expected to become more popular than before. In this paper, we look at the 122 years history of Japanese language education in Taiwan, consider the problems of Japanese university education, and want to think about the problems of education today.
