In rugby, all positions possess various characteristics for players to fit in. It is rarely seen that a skinny guy taking the responsibility of the first row. Each position is very different based on the demand of the position. From energy system to movement pattern, there is a huge difference among positions and players. Therefore, a tailored and customised strength and conditioning program based on the positional demands should be individually provided to the player. With the data recording prior to commence of the program, the justification will be provided for supporting the choices of different tests. Moreover, the periodisation plan and more detail will also be provided for explaining the design of this program.
