臺北市國小學童的讀報行為與對讀報成效的認知研究

A Study of the Cognitive Effects and Outcomes of Newspaper Reading Behavior of the Elementary School Students in the Taipei City

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺北市國民小學學生的人口變項,對讀報行為的意見與讀報成效的認知之關係;研究對象以97學年度參與《臺北市國民小學試辦讀報教育實施計畫》的臺北市國民小學中高年級學生為主。在本研究中,人口變項包括性別與年級別,對讀報行為的意見包括學習動機、學習時間和學習次數,對讀報成效的認知包括增廣見聞、人際關係、公民素養、表達能力、解決問題及認識字彙等。研究結果發現,臺北市國民小學的學生在對讀報行為的意見不會因性別和年級別的不同而有差異,在對讀報成效的認知則會隨性別、年級別的不同而產生差異。本研究建議,應針對不同性別、年級別的學生設計不同的教學方式,並推動親、師、生協同教學,協助學生建構管理知識的能力,以達到閱讀訓練的目的。

The purpose of this study is aimed to explore the elementary school students in Taipei on the demographic variables of gender and grade level; their views of implementation of newspaper behavior, including learning motivations, learning preferences and frequencies; and their self-assessment of effects on newspaper-in-education that included broader views, better interpersonal relationship, civic literacy, expression ability, problem solving ability, and increase of vocabulary. The study involved elementary school students participated in ”the Newspaper in Education in Taipei Elementary School Education Project” in 2008. The results showed that elementary school students do not differ in gender and grade level in their opinion of newspaper in education, but differ in self-assessing the learning outcomes. This study suggested that adequate teaching strategy for newspaper in education should be gender-and-grade specific, and at the same time should promote teacher-student collaborative teaching and learning to help students construct knowledge management capabilities in order to achieve the objectives of newspaper in education.
