企業導入網路群體決策支援系統及創意訓練之個案研究

Case Studies of Implementation of Web-based Group Decision Support System and Creativity Training in Organizations

摘要


為提昇企業的競爭力,企業組織內的團隊合作、群體決策、及群體會議的績效也備受重視。本研究以二個中小企業為例,觀察導入群體決策支援系統及創意訓練二個問題解決工具對會議績效的影響。兩家公司都導入網路群體決策支援系統並同時接受2小時的系統使用的訓練,其中一家公司另外接受6小時的創意訓練,結果顯示,有接受創意訓練公司在會議的數量上及各會議之構想品質皆多於未接受創意訓練公司,此外,未接受創意訓練公司則在會議過程中較會出現聊天、離題、或疏發自我情緒之字句出現,具體可行的提案則相對較少。建議未來企業在導入群體決策系統時,組織需提供相關配套措施:創意訓練、高階主管支持、及激勵制度等,才能成功建置這一類的系統。

Businesses are looking for ways to improve their competitiveness via cross-functional teamwork, collaborative tools supporting group decision making, and effective problem solving meetings. This study is based on two case studies of two small-to-medium size enterprises' (SME) implementation of a group decision support system (GDSS) and/or creativity training, as well as their impacts to meeting performance. Both firms went through a two-hour training in using a GDSS. The difference between the two firms is that only one firm received a six-hour creativity training. The result based on data gathered from these two firms indicates that the firm that received a creativity training before the use of a GDSS generated more and better ideas in the online meetings conducted using the GDSS comparing to another firm that did not receive the creativity training. We also found participants from the firm that did not receive creativity training often used the electronic brainstorming tool in the GDSS as a chat room, diverted from the topic under discussion, or injected emotional statements in their discussion, therefore the ideas that were generated were less useful. Based on our study, we conclude that when companies are planning to implement GDSS, they should provide employees with creativity and problem solving training, obtain support from top management, and give employees proper incentives for contributing fully via these online collaboration tools.
