澳門居住院舍長者主觀幸福感與其生活的關係研究

摘要

研究問題：本研究欲瞭解居於澳門提供長期照顧的受資助和私營院舍，長者的生活主觀幸福感覺，探求影響生活幸福感的因素。以期提高居住院舍長者的生活幸福感。研究對象：研究共向全澳19間院舍發出訪問邀請函，得到7間資助院舍及1間私營院舍的回覆及協助，成功訪問了64名長期住宿院舍的長者。研究方法：採用問卷調查方法，使用總體幸編感量表（GWB）、院舍生活滿意度調查量表及按研究需要設計之變項組合而成，分為閉鎖式問題及開放式問題，以收集受訪長者對相關問題的意見和態度。研究發現：研究結果顯示：受訪長者主觀幸福感水準高，男性幸福感較女性高；主觀幸福感與其自己健康情況的評價有顯著相關；主觀幸福感與其對院舍服務評價有相關；住院長者與家人的相處和關係亦頗佳。受訪長者沒有經濟上的壓力。結論與建議：基於研究發現，建議促進長者參與復康活動的動機和意願；為長者提供適時、適切的醫療及保健服務，以維持或延緩肌能退化；透過活動，強化長者的社交生活，以滿足他們的心理和社交的需要，提高他們對生活的興趣；透過以人為本的理念，培育員工對長者的關愛和尊重，建立和諧友好的院舍生活感覺。政府必須肩負和加強對院舍服務的支援及監察。

Objective: The aim of this research was to study the subjective well-being (SWB) as well as influencing factors of the elderly living in subsidized or private elderly homes that running long-term care services in Macau. Methods: Questionnaire survey method was adopted in this research. General well-being schedule (GWB), Life satisfaction in elderly home scale survey combined with variables to meet the need of this research were used. Open and closed ended questions were included in the questionnaire to collect the views and attitudes from the elderly interviewed. There were totally sixty four (64) long-term tenants living in elderly home were interviewed. Results: The state of SWB of those elderly interviewed was high. Significant correlation between SWB and the status of perceived health was observed. Correlation between SWB and their perception of the overall elderly home service they lived was observed. Good interaction and relationship between elderly tenants and their families were observed. Elderly in Macau are not under any economic pressure. Government policy provides sufficient supports and financial aids to the elderly. Conclusion and Implication: The results of the research strengthen the elderly concerns about their health and promote rehabilitation activities and facilitate the social life of elderly Offer timely, appropriate medical and health care services for the elderly Upholding the people-oriented belief, nurture employees to provide care and respect to the elderly in order to build a elderly home in harmony and amicable atmosphere. The government should increase subsidy to the private elderly homes for facilities enhancement and employee training to accommodate the needs of elderly tenants.
