大專院校教師使用芳香療法紓解疲勞之研究

The Research on College Educators Using Aromatherapy for Burnout Relief

摘要


「疲勞」問題是處於科技時代的人們普遍的現象之一。大專院校教師,因工作量與工作壓力體力不堪負荷,造成身心疲憊不堪。故本研究擬用芳香療法來紓緩大專院校教師的疲勞,促進身心健康與提高生活品質。本研究採用前實驗設計、問卷調查法、立意取樣。研究對象為台南四所大專院校願意受試之專任教師69名,以單組做前後測設計。實驗設計採每日早晚塗抹3%紓解疲勞複方按摩油,連續10天。分析資料使用SPSS19.0英文版分別進行次數分配、百分比、平均數、標準差、t檢定、單因子變異數分析等。研究結果如下:一、大專院校教師整體疲勞程度在中度疲勞以上。二、大專院校教師,在施測塗抹紓解疲勞按摩油後「個人疲勞」與「工作疲勞」分數有降低。

Feeling ”burnout” is common for people in the era of technology. College educators often suffer from physical and mental burnout due to the overloaded work and job pressure. Therefore, this study utilized aromatherapy to relieve their burnout, to promote physical and mental health, and to further enhance quality of life. This study used pre-experimental design, questionnaires, and purposive sampling. One group pretest-posttest design was used on the research subjects, 69 professors from four colleges in Tainan City. The subjects applied 3% essence oil in the morning and in the evening every day for ten days. Data was analyzed by utilizing SPSS 19.0 English version for Frequency distribution, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t test, and One-way ANOVA. The results are as follow:1. The degree of burnout of the subjects is above the average.2. After applying massage oil that helped relieve burnout, the scores on ”personal burnout” and ”work burnout” decreased.
