教育人員涵育美感素養之探詢

A Research on the Aesthetic Temperament of Education Staff

摘要


美感教育之功能大矣哉!美感教育是教育的核心,其範圍極為廣泛,透過美感教育可以強化各種不同學科的學習,美感教育也是品德教育重要的一環,越來越多的中外學者深刻體認到美感教育對培育健全人格的重要性。但盱衡國內教育現況,美感教育卻僅止於聊備一格。國內教育堪稱是扼殺feeling的教育,何以淪落至此?揆其原因,是肇因於許多學校失落了教育的崇高理想和使命,文憑主義也造成重知識輕性靈的取向,加上傳統教育理念、作法,限制了學生內在真情,學校的組織、課程、管理強調統一化、制式化,理性掛帥造成感性失落,追根究底,問題關鍵在於教育人員普遍缺乏美感意識及素養,種種教育施為未能從美感角度思考,少能引導、提供學生從事探索、覺察、體驗的機會,無法讓學生以美感來豐富其生命經驗,職是,要如何涵育教育人員美感素養,誠為重大的課題!本研究即是以協同、統整的宏觀角度,探詢教育人員深化美感素養可循之路向,並提出可行之芻議,希望引發教育機關、教育人員更多的對話與行動,進而改變、改善教育實際,則學生幸甚、社會幸甚、國家幸甚。

The function of aesthetic education cannot be overemphasized because it is the core of education. It reinforces the learners' interdisciplinary learning capacity. It is a crucial part of moral education as well. Therefore, more and more scholars have drawn attention to the influence that aesthetic education has caused on cultivating a well-rounded person. Unfortunately it has not been given much weight over the past decades in Taiwan.The domestic education system has been always criticized for restraining one's natural gift. Why? Several reasons may be to blame. One could be that many of education staff have lost their initial ideal and passion for teaching. Besides, traditional values of the society have put too much importance on the academic degree rather than individual talent. The unified institutionalization of the schooling, the course, and the administration may be ascribed as another failure of education. Worst of all, educators are not aware of their lack of aesthetic temperament themselves and they are not able to think from the aesthetic perspective. It is not common for them to guide students to explore and perceive the environment so that students are in want of exuberant life experiences. In this case, how to enhance education staff's aesthetic temperament is a significant issue.This paper sets off to find out practical ways of fostering the temperament of education staff from a macro-point-of view. Furthermore, the purpose of this research is to launch the concern, dialogue, and action between the government and college teachers about aesthetic education. It would be a blessing for the students, society, and country if the existing situation could be changed.
