Rong cheng is called Rong cheng gong or Rong cheng zi who is known as an ancient emperor in chinese ancient history. He is also an immortal in fairy tales and an important figure in Taoism. The legends of Rong cheng is puzzling and contradicted. The professor Liling's research on ”Rong cheng” bamboo from Shanghai Museum in 1994 discovered the existence of ”Rong cheng”. The discovery of some ancestral halls from Xuzhou Han wang in 1986 gave many new archeological materials for the study of ”Rong cheng”. One of the stones in the Han wang ancestral halls is engraved with a four-head mythical animal and the inscription of ”Rong cheng”. The major content of the pictorial stone is an interview between King Mu of Zhou and Xi Wangmu.
