The purpose of this study was to explain the first grade students' intention to take skill test of the Employment and Vocational Training Administration (ETVA) in an institute of technology by implementing the Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior. The data were collected via the self-report questionnaire. By using a cluster sampling method, 940 of valid samples were collected with a self-administrated questionnaires. The results indicated that the subjects' intention to take skill test was positively correlated with the attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control. The variance of intention to take skill test could be explained by these three independent variables was 35.8%. Findings of this study should be useful in developing educational approaches designed to motivate students' behavior to take skill test.
