保齡球運動是一項歷史悠久,兼具休閒與競技的運動項目,不受天候與人數的限制的特性,使得它非常地受到國人的喜愛,由於它是專注力與技巧性的活動,不僅具有對抗性、集體性,也包含健身性、娛樂性,過去我國保齡球運動水準相當高,國際比賽屢創佳績,但是近年來由於國外對於訓練方法的不斷研究以及廠商對於器材設備的研發改進,使得國際保齡球比賽水準不斷提升,因此我國保齡球運動欲維持國際競爭實力,應積極與國際接軌,吸收最新的訊息,不能還是處於土法煉鋼的階段,忽略了基本動作的訓練,優秀的保齡球運動員除了扎實的基本動作技巧之外,也需要有足夠的力量維持動作的穩定性,因此肌力、肌耐力和爆發力的鍛鍊對運動員而言是不容忽視的一環。本文主要的目的是想讓大眾瞭解阻力訓練對保齡球運動員的重要性,透過阻力訓練來提昇保齡球運動員的身體素質是非常重要的。
Ten-Pin Bowling, a time-honoured sport, is focused on concentration and technique and is both a recreational and competitive activity. Ten-Pin Bowling includes contest, cooperation, entertainment and exercise; and therefore it is a popular sport in Taiwan.In the past, Ten-Pin Bowling was one of the very high-level developed sports in Taiwan and the Taiwanese players had won many outstanding achievements at the International Ten-Pin Bowling competitions worldwide. Nowadays, Taiwanese Ten-Pin Bowling players no longer shine because Western Countries' coaches and manufacturers are continuing to research and invent modern training and apparatus for their players; consequently, they have promoted and improved the running of the International Ten-Pin Bowling Contests. If Taiwanese ten-pin bowling players would like to maintain a better competitive strength, they should absorb up-to-date information and improve connection with the global village. They, therefore, should adopt modern training to enhance their skills not just use traditional methods.Good Ten-Pin Bowling players must have not just solid basic skills, but also have sufficient strength to keep their balance in order to make their plays consistent; and therefore strength training, muscular endurance training and explosive strength training are the ones they can least afford to overlook.The main purpose of this paper is to address the significance of resistance exercises to ten-pin bowling players. In addition, resistance training improves Ten-Pin Bowling players' physical constitution.
