The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of the orienteering courses, including: life-effectiveness and group cohesion. The scales of life-effectiveness and group cohesion were used to evaluate the course effects for 78 participants. The scores of pre-test and post-test as well as follow-up test after two months were compared. Also, the effect size was taken to measure how much the change was at different time points. According to the results, this orienteering course could positively promote participants' life-effectiveness and group cohesion. In the end, suggestions for the following research and future courses design were made.
