新住民家庭休閒活動參與與代間傳遞之研究-以臺中地區為例

The Relationship between Participation in Recreational Activities and Intergenerational Transmission for New Immigrant Families: The Case of Taichung City

摘要


本研究旨在探析新住民家庭成員參與休閒活動類型異同、所遭遇的阻礙因素及上下兩代家庭成員在休閒活動參與中所產生的代間傳遞。本研究之對象為新住民學生以及其家庭成員共6個家庭合計12人,依據訪談大綱採半結構式深度訪談,訪談內容經逐字謄錄並經內容分析法,主要結果摘錄如下:(一)新住民來臺前後所參與的休閒活動由單一轉為多元的動態休閒模式;(二)新住民來臺前的休閒阻礙以結構性阻礙為主,關係性的限制次之;(三)來臺後休閒阻礙以個人內在阻礙為主,結構性阻礙與人際間阻礙則為新住民主要所面臨的難處;(四)國小階段之孩童屬單向代間傳遞;而國、高中階段青少年另受同儕影響會產生雙向的代間傳遞。結論:新住民參與休閒活動類型越趨多元,對於參與休閒活動之阻礙大多調整自我作息與心態改變從而克服,學習階段為國中或高中之青少年因同儕的影響有了新的休閒活動參與,而新的休閒活動參與會與家人產生雙向的代間傳遞,相互影響。建議國內相關組織對於新住民之政策上,應增加辦理藝文類特色活動辦理,增進代間傳遞,並透過網路平台推廣活動資訊,來提升代間傳遞之重視。

This study was intended to investigate the similarities and differences in leisure activities that the members of new immigrant families in Taiwan engaged in, the constraint factors they encountered, and the intergenerational transmission between two different generations of family members produced from their leisure activity participation. The subjects were new immigrant and their family members, with a total of 12 people (from 6 families) enrolled. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted according to the interview guide. The interviews were subjected to the content analysis. The main findings were summarized as follows: (1) New immigrants have changed their leisure activity participation from a single type to a dynamic mode of pluralistic participation after migration to Taiwan. (2) Leisure constraints faced by new immigrants prior to relocation to Taiwan were primarily structural constraints and secondarily interpersonal constraints. (3) During the initial stage of residence in Taiwan, new immigrants experienced more intrapersonal constraints; after the conquest of which, structural and interpersonal constraints have become the main difficulties confronting them. (4) For children at the elementary school who unidirectional intergenerational transmission was perceived. For middle and high school adolescents, they were also influenced by their peers to participate in a diversity of leisure activities that bidirectional intergenerational transmission was generated. Conclusion: The types of leisure activities of new residents are becoming more and more diverse, and most of the obstacles to participating in leisure activities are overcome by adjusting their own work and rest and changing their mentality, and adolescents in the learning stage of middle school or high school have new leisure activities due to the influence of their peers, and the new leisure activities will have a two-way intergenerational transmission and mutual influence with their families. It is suggested that relevant domestic organizations should increase the handling of special activities of art and culture to enhance intergenerational transmission through online platforms in terms of policies for new residents, and promote activity information through online platforms to enhance the importance of intergenerational communication.
