Maxillary Permanent Canine Impaction or Ectopic Eruption- Review Article

The ectopic eruption and impaction of maxillary permanent canines is a frequently encountered clinical problem. The diagnosis and treatment of this problem usually requires the expertise of pediatric dentist or orthodontist. The aim of this article is to review the aetiology and management of the ectopic maxillary canine based on the available scientific evidence.
