There are different techniques have been used to correct anterior crossbite in mixed dentition. This two clinical case report illustrates the treatment using fixed and removable inclined bite plane to correct anterior crossbite with mandibular functional shift during the mixed dentition. The patient A was an 8-year-old girl with a crossbite of the maxillary right permanent central incisor. ¬e patient B was a 10-year-old girl with a crossbite of the maxillary le permanent lateral incisor, both two cases expressed by a mandibular functional shift in the sagittal and transverse dimensions. The total active treatment time were 2 months and 3 months respectively; the treatment outcomes were successfully maintained for the subsequent 6 months. Pedodontists and orthodontists, as well as general practice, may find this interceptive orthodontic treatment technique useful in managing anterior crossbite cases of the mixed dentition and utilizing the discussion for further clinical guidance.
