唐君毅的生命教育觀-以《人生之體驗》為主要線索之考察

Investigation of Tang Chun-I's View of Life Education by using The Experience of Life

摘要


現代新儒家唐君毅,是一位思想早熟的仁者。他在長期的教育生涯中,恆以「道德自我之覺悟」、「精神之向上」、「超越之反省」等自勉勉人。《人生之體驗》一書體現其生命教育觀。本文採取文本分析法,以該書為主要線索,輔以唐氏其他著述及學界相關論著,歸納唐氏的生命教育觀為九點:一、生命的根基:本心之安立;二、生命的處境:孤獨之存在;三、生命的動力:良知之覺察;四、生命的樞紐:精神之向上;五、生命的護持:超越之反省;六、生命的拓展:人格之培養;七、生命的價值:願力之發皇:八、生命的苦難:疾病之體悟;九、生命的鵠的:天德之流行等。這些觀點,有其深義,值得吾人參考。

Tang Chun-I (唐君毅), a modern Neo-Confucianist (新儒家), is a benevolent man with intelligent ideas. In his long career in education, he has constantly encouraged himself and others with concepts of " moral self-consciousness, " " spiritual rising, " and "transcendental introspection." The book The Experience of Life 《(人生之體驗》) embodies his views on life education. This article adopts the text analysis method to approach this book and is supplemented by Tang's other writings and relevant academic works in order to summarize the following nine points of Tang's views on life education: 1. The root core of life: Peace of the heart; 2. The situation of life: Existence of loneliness; 3. The power of life: Consciousness of conscience; 4. The hub of life: Spiritual rising; 5. The support of life: Transcendental introspection; 6. The development of life: Cultivation of personality; 7. The value of life: Development of the power of vows; 8. The suffering of life: Realization of diseases; 9. The aim of life: Popularity of virtue. These perspectives have profound meanings and are worthy of study.
