利用溶膠凝膠法製備光觸媒二氣化鈦薄膜與其抑菌效果之評估

Study on the Preparation and Photocatalytic Inactivation of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) Thin Film by sol-gel Method

摘要


二氧化鈦是一種具半導體性質的觸媒,在紫外光(UV-A)的照射下具有光觸媒之活性,可應用於分解環境中有害物質,以及抗菌、防汚、除臭等功能。本研究主要利用容膠凝膠法(sol-gel)製備奈米二氧化鈦了溶液,其溶液的組成配方爲四丁氧基鈦:無水丁醇:無水乙酸=002 mol :0.08 mol: 008 mol均勻攪拌進行sol-gel反應,再利用旋轉塗佈(spin coating)技術將二氧化鈦溶液被覆於玻片基材成薄膜,經x-ray分析得知二氧化鈦薄膜之銳鈦礦相的成長溫度介於400℃至700C℃之間,且在溫度700℃時有銳鈦礦相與金紅石共存的現象。而經SEM觀察發現燒結溫度在400℃和500℃之間有晶粒回聚與交互聯結(cross-linked)現象產生。利用大腸桿菌(Escherichia coli) BCRC 10450菌株進行光觸媒抗菌評估,結果顯示溶膠凝膠法所製備之二氧化鈦光觸媒薄膜經紫外光(UV-A)照射1小時後,對大腸桿菌BCRC菌10450菌株的抑菌率可達99%以上。

Titanium dioxide (FiO2) is a semiconducting photocatalyst induced by irradiation ultraviolet A light (360 nm). It possesses the capability of decomposing toxicity in the environment, and has the functions of disinfection, self-cleaning, as well as deodorization. The preparation and antibacterial activity of TiO2 thin film with sol-gel method acre studied in this work. The chemical composition of the starting alkoxide solution was titanium IV butoxide: n-butanol: glacial acetic acid=0.02:11.08:0.08 in a molar ratio and it was mixed for a reaction of sol-gel. The thin film was then formed on the glass substrate by spin coating technology. XRD results indicate that the anatase phase was formed in deposition temperature range form 400℃ to 700℃, whereas the mixture of anatase and rutile phase coexist in the film at the deposition temperature of 700℃. After SEM examination, the evidences showed that the aggregation started between 400℃ and 500℃ and formed cross-linked groves. Moreover, we evaluated the photocatalytic inactivation of TiO2 thin film against Escherichia coli BCRC 10450 in vitro. It was found that the inhibition rate of the films irradiated under UV-A light was more than 99%.
