末期腎臟病患者的最後一哩路〜安寧照護

隨著醫療技術的進步與全民健保的普及，台灣透析病患的盛行率近年高居全世界之冠。因此，積極的腎臟透析替代療法是否能延長每位腎臟病患者的餘命與生活品質是目前逐漸受到關注的議題。近年來台灣越來越重視末期腎臟病患者的安寧照護，從安寧條例的修訂、健保方針的調整，到臨床醫護人員的參與，皆可見在末期腎臟病患者的安寧照護之推動與進步。唯有對末期腎臟病患者的安寧照護有更深的了解，才能在各方面協助改善末期腎臟病患的生活品質，讓他們在人生最後一段道路走得更有尊嚴與價值。

With the medical advances and the popularity of National Health Insurance, Taiwan became the country with the highest prevalence of dialysis patients around the world. Thus, people pay attention gradually to not only the issue of the positive kidney alternative medicine prolong patients' lives, but also the patients' quality of life. The hospice care toward patients of end stage renal disease has become more and more important in Taiwan in recent years. It's found that the hospice care of kidney disease is getting complete from the revision of the hospice care regulations, the adjustment of the National Health Insurance policy, and the participation of the clinical medical personnel. We can help to improve the quality of life of those who are suffering from end stage renal disease in all aspects by understanding deeper toward the hospice care of this illness, so the patients can be more dignified and valuable during the end period of their lives.
