Due to the progress of education revolution, indigenous curricula are gradually receiving more and more attention. Moreover, the demand for teaching materials for indigenous curricula is increasing. Teachers are often encouraged to design teaching materials. The researchers explore the sixth grade teaching materials in elementary school and conduct an action research on teachers involved in the process of indigenous education curriculum development. The main objective of this research is to study the action plans of teachers in order to designing teaching materials for indigenous education suitable to the characteristics of the school and the experience of students. It also encourages teachers to develop professionalism and creativity. This research is conducted through a combination of SWOT+A=SWOTA analysis and action research orientation in order to select realistic and feasible plans with deliberation.
