The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between exercise habits and sleep quality in De Lin Institute of Technology. The participants college students including 666 male (with mean age of male 17.58±1.44 years; high 172.57±6.12 cm; weigh 67.20±12.61 kg), and 398 female (with mean age of male 17.85±1.46 years; high 160.53±6.60 cm; weigh 56.32±10.68 kg). Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was used and data were analyzed by SPSS for window 18.0, descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, two independent sample t-tests, and Pearson Relationship Index. The significance difference α=.05. The results showed: (1). In exercise habits, the exercise frequency per one week is 1.96±1.75 in male and 1.15±1.41 in female, respectively. An exercise time is 30 to 60 minutes. Ball games are more frequency than other sports. (2). In sleep quality, female sleep score is 6.16±3.13 and male sleep score is 5.39±2.90. (3). In sleep duration, sleep efficiency, sleep time, sleep disturbances and subjective sleep quality, daytime function and sleep scores have significant differences (P <.05). (4). BMI index, exercise times, and sleep duration have significance negative relationship, but sleep score and go to bed time has a significance positive relationship. Conclusions: Exercise habits have greatly improvement range in De Lin Institute of Technology. All students have a poor sleep quality. We suggested that regular exercise habits to improve personal health and sleep quality.
