The Taiwan government has promoted cultural and creative industries for more than one decade. The numbers of firms of total cultural creative industries, visual art, music and performance art, cultural assets application and exhibition and performance facility, handicrafts, film, radio and television broadcast, publication, advertisement, popular music and cultural content, product design, visual communication design, designer fashion, and architecture design from 2009-2014 in Taiwan were utilized to be studied, Owing to the limited statistical growth data of cultural and creative industries, grey theory is suitable for the research. GM(1,N) is employed to find out the weight of each sub-industry along with the total growth trend of cultural and creative industries. As the results show, film industry ranks first, followed by designer fashion industry, and then cultural assets application and exhibition and performance facility industry. On the contrary, advertisement, handicrafts, publication are the bottom ranked industries. It is suggested that the authorities might encourage the top ranking industries to foster the cultural creative industries more efficiently.
