背景:根據世界衛生組織與美國疾病管制局對動態社區環境(Active Community Environments, ACEs)之定義,動態社區環境係指一處可提供社區居民從事多樣之身體活動機會的物理環境。目的:本研究之主要目的在探討不同背景變項之社區居民的運動行為與動態社區環境之相互關係。方法:研究採用動態社區環境評估問卷為研究工具,以區域機率抽樣針對高雄市某行政區社區居民1000人進行現場訪談。結果:研究結果顯示,在各項動態社區環境構面中,空間性是影響社區居民從事運動行為的首要因素,其次是安全性與支持性設施;此外,安全性、支持性設施與美觀性則是影響女性族群在社區環境中從事運動行為的三項顯著因素。結論:活動環境的可近性與安全是已有規律運動習慣之社區居民從事運動的首要考量因素,此結果或能提供未來建構動態社區環境時之參考依據。
Background: According to WHO and CDC, the framework for Active Community Environments (ACEs) is defined as the part of the physical environment that could provide plenty of opportunities of physical activity for urban dwellers. Purpose: The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between ACE and dwellers' exercise behavior in the scenario of active environments in an urban city. Methods: The ACEs evaluation questionnaires were administered to a stratified sample with area probability sampling method in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan; where respondents' living places were mapped using a geographic information system. A total of 1,000 urban dwellers comprised of 000females and 000males completed the questionnaires. Results: Results of this study indicate that among all ACEs factors, accessibility had significant association with exercise behavior, safety and supportive facilities were related significantly to physical activity. In addition to safety and supportive facilities may be an important determinant of Active Community Environment by female dwellers. Conclusion: In conclusion, urban dwellers that are regular exercised had more positive evaluation on accessibility and safety of the framework for ACEs, which might provide a new direction for future ACEs constructing.
