不同運動型態對中高齡婦女身體組成、生活品質之影響

The Effects of Different Types of Exercise on Body Composition and Quality of Life for Middle-aged and Old Women

摘要


本研究在探討與比較不同運動型態對中高齡婦女身體組成及生活品質之影響。本研究以45位身心健康之中高齡婦女,規律從事每週三天和和操運動者為和和操組(n=15),規律從事每週二天強力適能瑜珈運動者為適能瑜珈組(n=15)、以及無運動習慣者為控制組(n=15)。研究前,請各組受試者於安靜狀態下,接受生活品質量表台灣簡明版世界衛生組織生活品質問卷評量,並接受身體組成的測量。所得數據以單因子變異數分析進行比對,比較各組別身體組成及生活品質的差異,若達顯著水準,將進一步以最小顯著差異法(LSD)進行事後比較。結果發現︰一、身體組成的差異︰在身體質量指數、體脂肪百分比、腰臀圍比、骨密度方面,適能瑜珈組均優於和和操組與控制組,並達顯著差異(p<.05),和和操組與控制組在各方面皆無達到顯著差異。二、生活品質的差異: 在生理健康範疇、心理範疇、社會關係範疇、環境範疇四個範疇,適能瑜珈組與和和操組皆顯著優於控制組(p<.05),適能瑜珈組與和和操組無顯著差異(p>.05)。結論:對中高齡婦女而言,強力適能瑜珈是一項很好的運動。

Purpose: The aim of this research was to study the effects of different types of exercise on body composition and quality of life of middle-aged and old women. Methods: Forty five healthy middle-aged and old women (mean age 52.4±5.64) volunteered to participate in the study. They were from two different type of exercise groups: hehe exercise (HEG, n=15), power fitness yoga (PFYG, n=15), and control group (CG, n=15, no exercise). The HEG have practiced their exercises three days a week for 38.80±0.41 months in average. The PFYG have practiced their exercises two days a week for 39.27±1.16 months in average. Body composition and quality of life (World Health Organization Questionnaire on Quality of Life, WHOQOL-BREF) were valuated. ANOVA and post hoc test were conducted to compare the differences among the groups. Results: The outcome of the study demonstrated that PFYG improved BMl, percentage body fat, waist-to-hip ration significantly (p<.05) as compared with HEG and CG. The bone mineral density were increased statistically (p<.05) with HEG and CG, but there was no difference between HEG and CG. It was also noted that quality of life improved significantly (p<.05) for HEG and PFYG compared with CG, and there was no difference between HE and PFY. Conclusion: The power fitness yoga is a good choice for middle-aged and old women.
