長期以來,體育班或運動員給大眾的既定印象就是頭腦簡單、四肢發達;若在教育的過程中,教師的信念也是如此,對於學生運動員的人格發展是相當不利的。目的:本研究欲瞭解初次帶領臺北市國小體育班教師的教學信念,並能夠進一步瞭解體育班教師的教學信念對體育班學生造成哪些影響。方法:以質性研究法中的個案研究進行探究。結果:一、初任體育班教師對於學生運動員所抱持的教學信念是中立的,不會刻意將體育班標籤化;二、在課堂生活中,強調品格教育有利於學生運動員運動精神及道德的發展;三、強調學生身分及重視課業的發展,讓學生運動員接受更豐富的知識,跳脫運動員認同所造成的負面影響,較有利於學生運動員後續的生涯規劃及發展;四、初任體育班教師透過適時的鼓勵,慢慢建立學生的自尊及自我價值。結論:當體育班教師對學生運動員保持中立信念時,對於學生人格特質的發展有正向的助益。
For a long time in Taiwan, athletes have been given to the public a stereotypical image of being physically strong but simple-mined. It would be quite harmful for the development of student athletes' personality, if the teachers believe in that way. Purpose: This study was to explore the teaching beliefs of a beginning elementary school physical education (PE) class teacher, and further understand the impact of the teaching beliefs of the PE teachers on the students in the PE class. Methods: Adopt the qualitative research method to carry out the research. Result: (1) The beliefs held by the first-time PE class teacher were fair and she did not stereotypically label students with the old impressions; (2) In class, emphasizing the character education can improve students' spirits and moral development; (3) Focusing on students' identification and class lessons can help them gaining more knowledge and decreasing negative impressions. These approaches are beneficial for students' future career and life planning; (4) The first-time PE class teacher need to build up students' self-esteem and self-values with proper encouragement. Conclusion: What the teacher's belief is, and what the students' personalities would be.
