台灣風格家具原型設計探討-以紅眠床為例

摘要


本研究設計為配合挑戰2008文化創意產業計畫之產學合作案(國立雲林科技大學與臺灣福曼莎家具股份有限公司),進行研究台灣風格家具開發與設計。其設計目標是要應用對「原型」的研究,找出台灣使用者易感受到與同域性共同意識的象徵符號,並產生認同的作用,試圖在產品外觀上,尋求一種文化識別(Cultural identity)的特色(文建會,2003)。期望基於對台灣風格家具設計,使文化識別的認同感成為一種產品附加的力量;並將建構「台灣風格家具設計模式」,將理論文獻落實於實務產品開發。以台灣原型意象作為設計符碼,促使消費者因對原型意象產生熟稔親切的感受,直覺接受並認同產品風格,提高設計感的高附加價值,增加企業新產品研發競爭力(經濟部,2003)。「台灣風格家具原型設計模式」應用於家具產品設計中,可協助家具產業開發適切行政院挑戰2008文化創意產業計畫目標之家具產品,使產品具有文化產業特質,在設計結構及實用性中展現台灣特有的風格,擷取創意、精緻、市場區隔之多角化策略,提高產業競爭優勢,並可強化家具業產品風格設計塑造,建立自我品牌形象,使家具產業永續發展與升級轉型(經濟部工業局,2003)。

This research design, met with Challenging 2008: Cultural Creative Industries Plan Developing Plan, is a project cooperated with the university (National Yunlin University of Science and Technology) and the enterprise (Formosa Furniture Incorporated Co.), studying the development and design of furniture with Taiwan style. The design goal of the project, throught practising the research of ”archetypes”, is to find out a symbol sign of common consciousness within the context of localization recognized by people easily and try to search a character of cultural identity for application to appearance of products.The study, being expected to via the relations amnog the image of Taiwan archetypes, the product image of the enterprise, and the direction of the product development and applied the concept of ”archetypal design” to Taiwan styling furniture design, is to make the recognition of this cultural identity as an added power on designed products; and it constructs ”the design mode of Taiwan styling furniture”, practising the theory literatures on the product design development. It is, based on Taiwan archetypal image as design sign, to make consumers kindly familiar with and intuitively recognize the product style for promoting the added-on value of design and enchancing enterprise's competition in the new product developments. ”The archetypal design mode of Taiwan styling furniture” applied to the product design of furniture, could suitably assist furniture enterprise meet with the aim of the Administration's Challenging 2008: Cultural Creative Industries Plan, developing products with the character of cultural industries; it is, expressing Taiwan special style in the design structure and practicality and adopting the multi-strategies of catching creative, delicate, and market isolation, to promote industrial competitions and reinforce design styling of furniture enterprises' products which build up the self-band image for making furniture enterprises everlasting developments and promoting changes.
