台灣地區高中職舞蹈教師生涯發展與專業成長之研究

Relationship between Career Development and Professional Growth for High Schools and Vocational High Schools Dance Class Teachers in Taiwan

摘要


本研究目的在探討台灣地區高中職舞蹈教師生涯發展與專業成長之現況及相關性。研究方法以「台灣地區高中職舞蹈教師生涯發展與專業成長問卷」為研究工具進行問卷調查,研究對象為九十一年學年度任教於台灣地區十二所公私立高中職之舞蹈教師共101位,經「普查」方式,實得86份之有效樣本。經統計方法分析後所得結果歸納如下:一、台灣地區高中職舞蹈班教師之「生涯發展」與「專業成長」均傾向於普通之狀況。二、台灣地區高中職舞蹈教師之專業成長會因「教育程度」之不同而有顯著差異存在。其中,畢業於「研究所以上」的舞蹈教師之專業成長顯著高於「大專院校」及「大學院校」之舞蹈教師;三、台灣地區高中職舞蹈教師之專業成長會因「教學年資」之不同而有顯著差異存在。其中,任教「6~15年」及「16~25年」之舞蹈教師,其專業成長顯著高於「5年以下」之教師。四、台灣地區高中職舞蹈班教師之「生涯發展」與「專業成長」呈現顯著低程度之負相關。根據上述研究結果,建議舞蹈教師應掌握生涯發展階段的重點,做好個人專業成長規劃,透過合作學習解決目前進修困難之不足,廣泛吸收教學知識、加強教學專業能力,以及培養第二專長和重視教學經驗的傳承。

The purpose of the study was to investigate the situation and relationship between career development and professional growth for high school and vocational high school dancing teachers. The factors considered included personal characteristics, career development and professional growth for dancing teachers. A questionnaire of teachers' career development and professional growth was used for collecting data. A total of 86 dancing teachers from 12 high school and vocational high school in Taiwan participated in this study. The Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) was used to analyze data. Statistical analyses used in this study included descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study were: (1) The career development for dancing teachers was in ”study development” status. (2) The professional growth for dancing teachers tends to ”fine” situation, and dancing teacher's ”dancing professional ability” was better than ”teaching professional ability”. (3) There was a significant difference (p<.05) between career development and ”age”, ”years of teaching experience”, and ”education degree”. (4) There was a significant difference (p<.05) between professional growth and ”age”, ”years of teaching experience”, and ”education degree”. (5) A significant negative relationship existed between ”career development” and ”professional growth” for dancing teachers. According to the results above, dancing teachers should handle and emphasize the focal point of career development, and make personal plan of professional development well. School should set up advanced study system according to school position and assist dancing teachers to attend advanced study on the job.
