本文透過回收之9,366份國小藝術教師問卷,以及1,400份國中藝術教師問卷,進行國民中小學教師教學現況之調查分析,以了解現階段國民中小學在一般藝術教育實施上所遭遇的問題。研究結果分析的內容包括:一、教師專業背景,二、教師對教育目標的看法,三、教師對課程標準的認知,四、課程規劃現況,五、教學實施現況,六、教學資源現況,七、教師進修現況。 本研究結果發現,值此九年一貫課程教育改革之際,國中、小藝術教學界實仍存在著許多的問題亟需解決,包括表演藝術師資極度缺乏、藝術教師未能專才專用、藝術教師對九年一貫「藝術與人文」領域課程認同度尚待加強,以及教學設備資源有待充備等。期望透過此次調查研究所發現之問題,能使我國藝術教育現況受到教育相關單位及社會大眾的重視,共思改進之道。
This study analyzed questionnaire data collected from 9366 elementary school art teachers and 1400 secondary school art teachers. The questionnaires address issues and topics in current Taiwan art education, in the elementary and secondary schools. The issues include: 1. Art teachers' professional background. 2. Art teachers' attitudes toward educational goals. 3. Art teachers' understanding of standards of curriculum. 4. Art teachers' design of curriculum. 5. The current situation of art teaching. 6. Resources for art teaching; and 7. The training of art teachers. This study discusses the following issues in the current arts and humanities education: 1.Insufficient numbers of teachers of performing arts; 2.Insufficient assignment of art teachers; 3.Teachers' identity and recognition of the goals of arts and humanities education; 4.Inadequate facilities and teaching resources.
