蒸汽消毒防治菊花育苗期土壤傳播性病害

Control of Soil-borne Disease on Chrysanthemum Cuttings by Steam Disinfection

摘要


應用蒸汽機產生之高壓蒸汽進行菊花苗床之沙土消毒,當溫度達70℃並維持20 min,即完成蒸汽消毒處理,處理結束測得不同位置20 cm深之溫度範圍為76~95℃,30 cm深之溫度範圍為47~78℃,能完全殺死預先埋入沙土0、10、20及30 cm深之莖腐病菌(Rhizoctonia solania)、根腐病菌(Pythium aphanidermatum)及軟腐病菌(Erwinia chrysanthemi)。菊花莖腐病、根腐病及軟腐病病圃以蒸汽消毒,隔天扞插菊花,所生產之菊花種苗,其病害發生率只有0~2.1%,而對照不經蒸汽消毒處理,其菊花種苗發病率高達84.2~100%,顯示蒸汽消毒能同時防治菊花莖腐病、根腐病及軟腐病等菊花育苗期土壤傳播性病害。

Sand seedbeds for chrysanthemum cuttings propagation was treated with steam at 70℃ for 20 min. to control soil-borne pathogens. After steam treatment, the temperature at 20cm depth ranges between 76℃ and 95℃, and temperature at 30 cm depth ranges between 47℃ and 78℃. Soil-borne pathogens including Rhizoctonia solania, Pythium aphanidermatum, Erwinia chrysanthemi could not survive at 0 to 30 cm depth in the sand seedbeds with the steam disinfection. A greater reduction of disease incidence was observed with the steam disinfection on the particular soil-borne disease of chrysanthemum cuttings, therefore application of steam disinfection could control the soil-born diseases of chrysanthemum cuttings at the same time.
