番茄台中11號之育成

Breeding of Tomato 'Taichung No. 11

摘要


番茄(Solanum lycopersicum L.)於栽培過程中常因番茄黃化捲葉泰國病毒種(Tomato yellow leaf curl Thailand virus, TYLCTHV)誘發番茄黃化捲葉病(Tomato yellow leaf curl disease, TYLCD),造成嚴重經濟損失,種植抗病品種為解決此病害於栽培中發生之根本途徑。臺中區農業改良場以‘Sylviana’(Enza zaden Co.)分離之純系B51為母本,以‘種苗亞蔬22號’(TSIPS, COA)分離之純系B72為父本,成功育成帶有Ty1/3及Ty2抗病基因之雜交一代番茄‘台中11號’。番茄‘台中11號’為半停心型,下胚軸具有花青素,果實圓球形,未成熟果淡綠色有綠肩,成熟果紅色,不易脫粒,果重約48g,2-3個心室,抗番茄黃化捲葉病,適合有機及露天栽培。已於2021年10月14日取得我國植物品種權(品種權字第A02618號),未來可作為番茄農友種植品種之新選擇。

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is an important fruit vegetable in the world. Tomato yellow leaf curl disease (TYLCD) is caused by tomato yellow leaf curl Thailand virus (TYLCTHV) during cultivation reducing serious economic losses in Taiwan. Planting disease-resistant cultivars is the fundamental way to avoid the occurrence of this disease in cultivation. Taichung District Agricultural Research and Extension Station used the pure line B51 isolated from 'Sylviana' (Enza zaden Co.) as the female parent, the pure line B72 isolated from 'Zhongmiao Yashu No.22' (TSIPS,COA.) as the male parent. Molecular markers were used to assist breeding. A F_1 hybrid tomato cultivar with Ty1/3 and Ty2 disease resistance genes was successfully bred and named 'TaichungNo.11'.Tomato ‛Taichung No. 11' is a semi-determinate type, with anthocyanin in the hypocotyl, spherical fruit shape, light green shoulder in immature fruit, red mature fruit, not easy to thresh, fruit weight about 48 grams, 2-3 ventricles, resistant to tomato yellow leaf curl disease, suitable for organic and open field cultivation. At present, the plant variety rights of the Republic of China have been obtained (Certificate No. A02618). It can be a new choice for tomato farmers in the future.
