Pulmonary Benign Metastasizing Leiomyoma and Review the Imaging Presentation
肺良性轉移性平滑肌瘤及回顧其影像表現
摘要
良性轉移性平滑肌瘤是少見的疾病，通常沒有明顯的臨床症狀，病人一開始接受影像檢查多是因為其他原因。我們報告一個子宮肌瘤切除16年後的兩側肺野良性轉移平滑肌瘤病例，並回顧文獻上關於肺良性轉移性平滑肌瘤在影像上的表現。當遇到兩側肺的多發性結節時，詳細的病史詢問與良性轉移性平滑肌瘤的可能性必須放入鑑別診斷。

Benign metastasizing leiomyoma (BML) is a rare disease. Afflicted extrauterine organs in reported cases include the lungs, intraperitoneal space, skull and spine. The lung is the most common site of involvement. Pulmonary lesions, which usually appear as multiple well-circumscribed nodules in bilateral lung fields without predominant location, are often discovered incidentally when patients seek care for other conditions. A differential diagnosis of benign metastasizing leiomyoma should be considered in patients undergone a hysterectomy for uterine leiomyoma in the past and present with asymptomatic multiple pulmonary nodules.
