明志科技大學101~103學年度大一新生體適能差異比較

Comparison of Physical Fitness among Freshmen in Ming Chi University of Technology during 101-103 Academic Years

摘要


目的:體適能是健康的要素,沒有健康就沒有生活品質可言,體適能的優劣關係著個人的身體健康與生活品質,所以瞭解體適能狀況是每一個關心自己的人所應該重視的,因此瞭解當下技職院校一年級新生的體適能狀況是一件刻不容緩當前重要的議題。方法:以t檢定、單因子變異數、百分等級進行統計分析,探討明志科大近三年入學新生共計2,483人,平均年齡18.6歲,在體適能表現與其全國體適能常模比較之差異性,不同學年度、學院在體適能表現之差異為何。結果:101學年度男生「一分鐘仰臥起坐」成績落於全國常模70%百分等距,且表現優於102學年度、103學年度的男生;此外工程學院男生在「立定跳遠」表現優於管設學院男生。103學年度女生「跑走」成績落於全國常模70%百分等距,相較101、102學年度女生跑走表現佳,且103學年度女生亦於「立定跳遠」表現優於101學年度女生。結論:這些新生未來再歷經明志科大每天朝會晨跑及全校性運動參與,以促進學生身體素質的提升,想必新生體適能檢測項目亦會有所再增進。

Purpose: Physical Fitness is one of the most important elements for health. Without health, there will be no quality life. The quality of physical fitness relates to people's health and quality of life so it is essencial for those who care about themselves to understand their physical fitness conditions. Therefore, it is critical to find out high school/ vocational high school graduates' physical fitness conditions. Method: T-test, ANOVA and percentile rank were carried out to compare the national norm and the performance of the freshmen in Ming Chi University of Technology in recent three years. Moreover, the physical fitness in different academic years and in different colleges were analyzed. Result: In 'one minute sit-up', the performance of the male students in 101 academic year was found with the grades in 70% percentile interval of the national norm and it was also better than the performance in 102 and 103 academic years. In 'standing long jump', male students from the College of Engineering did better than the ones from the College of Design and Management. In 'walk-run', the outcome of the female students in 103 academic year reached the grades in 70% percentile interval of the national norm, and it was found better than the outcome in 101 and 102 academic years. The female students in 103 academic year performed better than the ones in 101 academic year in 'standing long jump'. Conclusion: After participating the morning jogging every weekday and the sport activities, the Freshmen are expected to improve their physical conditions, and hopefully this will generate better results in their physical fitness in the future.
