高雄縣社會橄欖球運動階段進程之研究

摘要

台灣橄欖球運動起源於1913年，橄欖球運動屬身體高接觸型式之運動，有較高的運動傷害比例，在運動競賽中屬於較冷門之運動項目，但過去在亞洲具有優異的成績，其間緣由值得加以探討。希望藉此機會探討台灣橄欖球發展史，並以高雄縣社會橄欖球發展過程為例。本文以歷史研究法蒐集橄欖球相關文獻作為分析，旨在揭示一、高雄縣社會橄欖球運動發展的起源！二、探索高雄縣社會橄欖球運動發展的概況！高雄縣橄欖運動的起源應該自1984年橄欖運動球委會成立後開始。筆者據高雄縣橄欖球運動發展可以分為三個階段並逐一探討在各時期發展情形和影響成績表現之因素。一、組織的變遷1984年以前，雖然已經有人在從事橄欖球運動，但這個運動是從1984年12月8日委員會成立才開始。1984至1989這個時期委員會的運作並沒有很積極的投入橄欖球的發展。二、推動的人員高雄縣社會橄欖球在委員會於1990重新改組後，由主委林懋森老師及總幹事丁志堅老師把橄欖球引進該縣後，積極籌劃重新活躍委員會的經營推動、出錢出力及基層教練孜孜耕耘、認真積極的訓練使橄欖球運動向下扎根，培育出橄欖球優秀的運動人才三、成績的展現自1989年參加競賽開始，終於在2001年開花結果，留住七人制及十五人制橄欖球賽金牌，接下來並締造全運會十五人制的四連霸、七人制的二連霸輝煌紀錄，成為全運會橄欖球的新霸主。高雄縣從事發展社會橄欖球運動的學校及選手並不多，而政府相關經費補助也不多，但高雄縣的橄欖球前輩們堅持到底的信念和一步一腳印努力經營的精神，使高雄縣的橄欖球運動向下紮根，並結合全國橄協會的各項計劃，共同培育國內優秀的運動人才，未來2016年奧運，已將它列入正式比賽項目，或許它將是讓台灣揚名國際最好的機會。

Rugby in Taiwan started in 1913. The sport of rugby has a high frequency of body contact which raised the injury rate, thus it is a less popular sport among others. However, Taiwanese rugby teams have done well in competitions with Asian nations, and that deserves a closer examination on this particular sport, to further understand the history of rugby in Taiwan, through the development of football activity in Kaohsiung County. This research is based on the analysis the historical document in rugby, to reveal the rugby activities in Kaohsiung County from its beginning to its current development. Rugby in Kaohsiung County started in 1984, after the rugby committee was formed. There are three main stages in the development of the rugby sport in Kaohsiung County. …. 1.The Establishment of the Committee The rugby committee was established on December 8, 1984, but the sport was played before this. Despite the establishment of the committee, there was not much effort put into the development of rugby during the years of 1984 to 1989. 2.The Personnel Behind the Reform The rugby committee was reformed in 1990. Chairman Lin Mas-Sen and director Ting Chih-Chien strived to revitalize the committee with their talents and financial support. With the hard work of coaches in training, they have had some excellent players. 3.The Outcome of the Reform The rugby team from Kaohsiung County began their competition in 1989. They won their first championship with rugby Sevens Games in rugby Games respectively. They went on to win the Taiwan Games championship for four consecutive years with rugby Games , and the championship for two consecutive years with rugby Sevens Games to become the new elite team in the sport. There is not much participation in Social rugby from the schools and athletes in Kaohsiung County, nor the financial support from the government. However, with the persistence and hard work of the football lovers, Chinese Taipe rugby football development plan, The persistence, devotion and hard work from the rugby senior has improved the sport of rugby in Kaohsiung County despite the lack of school participation, athletes, and the government’s financial support. Together with Chinese Taipe rugby football plan, they have produced many talented athletes. rugby has been officially included in the 2016 Olympic Games. It can be a great chance for Taiwan to shine through its excellent football players.
